LIBERATION – Cheers! KFPL is raising the bar for virtual happy hours with Ales & Tales, a refreshing program in partnership with Spearhead Brewing Company. Learn about the brewing process and sample a variety of beers as you have a six-pack delivered to your doorstep.
“Patio time is coming and knowledge of beer will help everyone make their best selections for seasons to come,” said Jake Miller, Librarian, Adult Programming. “Having Spearhead work with KFPL is a great opportunity to expand your palate and make beer a talking point.”
On April 21 from 7-8 p.m., Spearhead President Josh Hayter will share brewery history, local brewing, and details on the beers available for Ales & Tales.
The options are:
- Northern Amber – Amber beer
- Hawaiian Style Pale Ale – West Coast Style IPA
- Lighter Lager – Easy to drink lager
- NEIPA – East Coast Style IPA
- Queen of Wheat – Belgian style wheat beer
- Saison Green Tea – Floral / slightly sweet / Saison ale
A six-pack plus delivery is included in the $20 cost. The cans are 16 oz. That way, attendees will have enough beer to invite a friend or two to sip with you or keep some in the fridge for later.
