1812 Brewing Company enters into purchase agreement for

Watertown, New York, Sept. 07, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — 1812 BREWING COMPANY, INC. (OTC Pink: KEGS) (the “Company” or “KEGS”) is pleased to announce that it yesterday finalized an equipment purchase agreement and secured private equipment financing to acquire a filling line and labeling of five-head cans with industry partners Wild Goose Filling (https://wildgoosefilling.com) and Ska Manufacturing (https://skafabricating.com). The company expects the canning line to be installed and operational in 2022. After the canning line is commissioned, the company will have the ability to package its beers in the way consumers prefer. – bottles, cans or pressure.

President and CEO Tom Scozzafava said, “Once the line is operational, the company can package according to consumer and retailer preferences. I’m considering some beers, like War of 1812 Amber Ale, packaged in both cans and bottles. Mr. Scozzafava continued, “In addition, it also provides the company with some financial protection against volatility in the glass or aluminum markets with respect to price and availability. Additionally, with the company’s ability to package in cans or bottles, the opportunities for contract brewing and packaging for other breweries will be greatly enhanced.

Mr. Scozzafava concluded, “Finally, after many discussions with Canadian distributors, it was clear that canning was a must. With our proximity to Canada and leveraged brands such as ‘War of 1812 Amber Ale’ and ‘Thousand Islands IPA’, canning opens up the Canadian market. This will be an important opportunity for the Company.
