Head of State and Regulatory Affairs

Pete Johnson is the Head of State and Regulatory Affairs for the Brewers Association (BA). He joined the BA when it was founded in 2005, after working as director of programs for the Brewers Association of America. Prior to joining the small brewing industry in 2001, Pete worked for 14 years with state and federal elected officials in Pennsylvania and Washington, DC.

Sent to the governor for review, AB 2301 authorizes a retail retailer who is also a beer manufacturer to purchase liquor from the licensed beer manufacturer, if the production premises are within five miles of the licensed sales premises.
