Block 15 Brewing is a local business that was born out of a passion for carefully and excellently produced food and beer, social and environmental sustainability, strong local partnerships, giving back generously to our community, and organic growth that prioritizes the well-being of our team and the quality of our work.

First established in 2008 as a community-oriented brewery, Block 15 has since grown to include three sites – a community-oriented brewery, a production brewery and tap room and a sister restaurant to Caves Corvallis – alongside distribution company Block 15, focused on bringing craft beer and regional artisan products to markets around PNW.


We are looking for a truly special Marketing Manager to join our Digital Media Specialist to help us share the Block 15 experience in our local community and across PNW – someone who can combine creative vision and analytical insight when storytelling Block 15 story as unique and effective as possible. Past experience in craft beer, food and hospitality is also a huge plus.

An imaginative and professional approach to content and communication is essential, as our marketing programs must reflect the same sophistication and originality as our products. An organized mind and a solid project management background are equally important, as our business relies on well-defined goals and solid budgeting to give us the freedom to create something special when inspiration strikes.

duties and responsibilities


  • Integrate marketing plans, goals, strategy, and budgets into the workflow.

  • Manage internal and external content creators and coordinate with other internal teams to ensure projects are completed to specification and in a timely manner.

  • Oversee the digital presence of multiple brands and divisions of the company, including social media, websites and newsletters, in coordination with the internal digital media specialist.

  • Manage and build key business relationships and collaborative marketing projects.

  • Integrate, improve and oversee clear workflows for internal departments including brewery, distribution and restaurants.


  • Oversee the creative direction of the brand across all branches of the business, both maintaining and evolving the visuals and voice of Block 15.

  • Contribute to product development through strategic analysis of portfolio and competitive landscape and monitoring of industry trends.

  • Partner with our executive chef, brewing and sales teams to develop, refine and execute innovative and sought-after products in the craft beer market.

  • Organize and oversee the creative development of product labels from conception to completion, including compliance and TTB submissions.


  • Maintain and enhance Block 15’s reputation as an innovative and inspiring leader in the brewing space and local community.

  • Build fundamental relationships with relevant industry stakeholders.

  • Oversee professional and positive communication with our clientele through newsletters, emails, online platforms, events, print materials and across the bar.

  • Manage press outreach and public relations, including developing industry contacts, writing professional and compelling press releases, and actively monitoring industry editorial calendars.

  • Strengthen brand presence locally, regionally and nationally through products, campaigns and innovations.

  • Ability to manage and lead a team, both internal and external, in an enthusiastic and inspiring manner.

  • Strong organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills, ensuring marketing projects are completed on time.

  • Solid understanding of brand identity and an eye for what is creative, relevant and exciting in the market.

  • Ability to embody the voice of our brand on all marketing channels, with humor, originality and precision.

  • Strong and positive communication skills across all channels whether written or face-to-face, long or short and enjoyable.

  • Strong attention to detail, whether reviewing creative media, copy or analytical data.

  • A high level of flexibility to take direction and work independently.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills when representing the brand in our locations and in the market at events and meetings.

  • Computer skills including MS Office, Google applications and Adobe CS.

  • Ability to analyze marketing performance and positively lead the team to adapt and improve where necessary.

Minimum Qualifications Required

  • 2+ years of industry experience or 4+ years of marketing experience.

  • Demonstrated experience in project management of creative projects and marketing programs.

  • Can present a portfolio of marketing work demonstrating creative direction, marketing plans, tracking and data research

  • A strong appreciation of the role of locally owned and operated organizations with strong ties to their community.

  • A passion for beer, artisanal cuisine, community and fun!

  • Located in or around Corvallis or ready to move.
