Can you believe the Dust Bowl Brewing Company is open? Elk Grove has become a destination for craft breweries. The execution of this place really makes this place amazing. The interior of the establishment is impressive as is the outdoor space. Expect to come here for group get-togethers to try the beers or for a quick bite. It’s a solid addition to the Elk Grove beer scene.
Beer
What can go wrong with beer? Nothing when you have a great selection with tasty beers that go a long way. As a beer lover and maker, I really enjoy the beer here. The stout and misty IPA were particularly tasty. The beers come from the Turlock Brewery and go up to Elk Grove. The beers are very good this variety of offers. There are even seltzer-style offerings that are all the rage right now. I really enjoy the beer here and will be back for more. They have so many draft beer options. Don’t be afraid to ask to taste them.

The food offer comes from a small kitchen, located at the back of the establishment, offering some tasty delicacies. It is separate from the operation of the tavern. The food options are quick but good bites that pair well with the beer offerings. Don’t expect the huge selection of food like in other places; expect good food. Among the standout dishes I noticed a Filet “O” Chris Fish Sandwich, a House Burger which looked tasty, a few salads and a variety of flatbreads, and typical bar food such as nachos, a pretzel bavarois, fries, chicken fillets, and tacos. I was focused on trying the beers, but will be back to try the food.

All in all, definitely an awesome new establishment in Old Town Elk Grove. This adds to the appeal of being in Old Town Elk Grove. I will definitely come here more often as I really support expansion. The outside space is really cozy even in the cold. I look forward to hanging out here on summer evenings too. The interior is modern and spacious. Expect this place to be always busy. The seating area inside is a nice variety of tables and bars as well as communal tables. For a new location in Elk Grove; moreover, Old Town Elk Grove, I am amazed at the level of execution in creating this place.
