Director of Marketing and Community Engagement Time Allocation:

Social and digital media management – 30% of the time

Events (on/offsite) – 35% of the time

Beer outings and administration – 10% of the time

Sales, brand, strategy – 10% of the time

Donations and business support – 5% of the time

Brewery operations support – 5% of the time

Miscellaneous – 5% of the time

Detail: Social and digital media management:

? Manage TBBC’s Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Untappd communities.

? Create new and engaging content for every platform using industry best practices

? Respond to and interact with community comments and posts.

? Regularly scan our social media community for new trends

? Develop and execute strategies that elevate our brand

? Maintain our TBBC.Beer website, adding new content, refreshing features, integrations with social media and other third party sites such as Mailchimp and Untappd.

? Cultivating relationships with the craft beer community and influencers? Develop and run email newsletters to support events and other major announcements using Mailchimp. Events:

? Lead all aspects of TBBC’s major on-site events (Hop King Invitational, Oktoberfest, BadA** Beerfest, etc.)

o Create event plans, strategy and budget.

o Obtain necessary permits from national and local authorities

o Coordinate with third party vendors for event equipment, staff, music, supplies

o Collaborate with Front of House and management to ensure adequate TBBC staffing, onsite promotion and support.

o Create an effective promotional program to drive ticket sales and guests o Set up and manage online ticket sales portal o Ensure event setup and manage day of operations

o Ensure the event is properly demolished and all final business/finances closed.

o Create pre-post event reports? Lead all aspects of small on-site community engagement events such as Memorial Day 5K, Buzz Off to Leukemia, Tampa Jeep Krewe, etc. (functions are similar to major events, but often less complex)

? Manage TBBC’s sales/marketing event calendar for off-site events, such as beer festivals and tap take-backs. Promote our participation, where appropriate, by ensuring appropriate branding and coordinating TBBC personnel and equipment.

? Run weekly on-site events, such as the Friday Night Music series.

o Identify and hire talent o Create contracts and ensure proper documentation is completed for accounting o Communicate with musicians and venue management

o Create and execute promotional programs to drive traffic to Beer Releases & Administration trade shows:

? Maintain the accuracy and correctness of our Untappd Beer database. Add new beers weekly and regularly remove duplicate entries.

? Coordinate new beer releases weekly for TBBC Westchase and Ybor City

o Load new beers in Untappd

o Write accurate beer descriptions

o Identify the quantity of taps available at each location and assign new beers to empty taps

o Create behind the bar beer tasting lists for Westchase & Ybor Brewpubs

o Communicate new beer information to key personnel

? Plan and execute promotional programs for all major TBBC beer releases

o Taproom launch events o Create promotional content for Untappd digital boards and social media

o Provide beer release information to select craft beer community media and influencers

o Regularly ship beer to reviewers and influencers o Ensure website is updated with new beer information and content Sales, brand, strategy:

? Maintain an in-depth understanding of the craft beer market, both locally and nationally.

? Contribute to strategic discussions regarding our brand and philosophies using industry and market knowledge

? Assist owners and management team as needed with strategic planning Donations and business support:

? Review and review requests for incoming donations and support from the community.

? Identify requests that align with our mission and brand

? Create gift packages and gift certificate requests as needed

? Serve as a point of contact for local businesses looking to partner and collaborate Brewery Operations Support:

? Assist brewery production time as needed with packing, cleaning and other duties.

Salary: $55,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year
