CALGARY, Alta. – The establishment’s brewing company announced the release of the latest limited-edition beer from its barrel aging program.
Innocent thrill (6.3% abv):
Here is something new, ah. On January 8, our very own Natasha Peiskar, Production Manager, Brewer, President of the Canadian Chapter of the Pink Boots Society (and a big deal by any measure!), led the ladies of the establishment through a tasting contents aged in oak barrels. of 8 of our barrels. Together they narrowed the field to four finalists who made the cut. Then the beer was dry hopped with that year’s Pink Boots hop blend and left to bloom for a few more months before bottling.
The end product is this catchy bouquet of golden sour beers. Your nose will welcome aromas of nectarines, lime and other tropical notes in concert with light floral notes. There are fewer petals in the mouth than there are in the air, but a lot of other things are going on. Expect barely there tea bitterness and moderate lemon-lime acidity, but it’s the unexpected arugula candy finish that really knocks the house down.
Innocuous Thrill is available now through Establishment’s retail store and online store. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Pink Boot Society of Canada to support her work to “inspire, help and encourage women and non-binary people in our industry”.
