Appalachian Brewing Company has launched a new soda that will have you wondering what outer space is like.
Liquid Outer Space, a craft soda, will be available at all ABC stores as well as Karns.
So what exactly does space look like?
“That’s the question, isn’t it?” said Artie Tafoya, co-owner and creator of Liquid Outer Space. “How does space taste?”
ABC said space tastes are objective. So far, the company says, “Aromas like cherry, vanilla, pineapple, lemon, and cinnamon have all been reported, but no one really knows.”
ABC said they combined nine flavors “to create a light and refreshing blend. Our goal is to leave your senses confused; want another sip to decipher the flavor.
Its light reddish hue leads consumers to assume the use of strawberries, raspberries, red cherries or exotic red fruits of red cactus and red passion fruit, but from your first sip, you will smell and taste sweets that you just can’t describe.”
“It’s a trade secret,” Tafoya said. “The secret is your flavor perception!”
ABC also created rocket labels. Each pack of four soda cans includes labels to create a four-can rocket. Fans can join a social media rocket-creation challenge and guess the soda flavors using #tastespace.
